Saturday, February 28, 2004 No, seriously, it's just a water bottle. Westy visited this weekend, it was a good time, we went down to Valley Junction in Des Moines so he could look at glass stuff, and we did random other crap. Aside from that I've had a pretty crappy few days. Apparently there are a large amount of people out there who've had a pretty significant problem with an aspect of my personality for a number of years, but no one's really felt like letting me know about it. Don't think you can tell what's going on in someone's relationship by reading the blog of just one of the members. It doesn't work that way. It's 53 degrees outside so I'm going to leave soon to play with the Dogs. Posted by Seager @ 02:24 PM CST Link | Thursday, February 26, 2004 Went to a little party tonight, played some Spades. It's Dan's (one of the best jugglers I know) last day in Ames. It was a good time. The level of conversation was lower than I would expect, but, well, we'll leave it at that. I'm going to miss Dan. He's moving to Omaha where Jesse (of the roadshow) is and they are going to finally start up the Gravity Works Juggling LLCl. Yay, I'm helping them with logos. I had the interview with Ames Outdoor today. The interview went well. If I don't get the job it will be because of lack of selling experience and my availability until mid April, not because of a bad interview. I know one of the managers there as well, he cut us a huge deal with most of our roadshow stuff. We're buddies, so my fingers are crossed. I should go to bed now. I have a FUCKING DRUG TEST in 12 hours. *grumble* Stupid 6 week long jobs. People with shy bladders should not have to take drug tests. Posted by Seager @ 01:13 AM CST Link | Wednesday, February 25, 2004 MY NOT POSTING ALL LAST MONTH WAS NOT MY FAULT!! NONONOONO! This thing was broken. Hence the test post below. I made up a bunch of entries but none of 'em got posted. *tear* I've been spending most of my time working on Team RoadShow. I think it's pretty swanky. I've/we've also gone on a few hikes out at ledges with Georgia. She's trained well enough that I can have her off the leash out there. It rules more than sprinkle donuts. Well, maybe not THAT much... Sprinkle donuts do rule an awful lot. Some things have been going my way and some haven't. It turns out I won't be able to stay at Johnny's after May. We'll be moving in here instead. It's a really expensive but also really nice. If any one you want to ether sublease from us (our current apartment) or move in with us, we'd love it..! Georgia may also not be able to stay at Johnny's house anymore due to landlord problems. That's not a good thing. I'm starting a crappy temp job probably next Monday. It's literally taking the corn off of cobs and then counting/sorting the kernels. It's going to suck and only last until mid April, but it's money in the bank and that's what I need. However, I need to do a drug test. What the fuck? IT'S A FUCKING 6 WEEK LONG JOB! JESUS! I interview tomorrow for a part time job at Ame's Outdoor that I hope to work on weekends and eventually during the week after the stupid seed job gives me the boot. On the good side that job will probably be pretty cool. They have foozball, basketball, and ping-pong tables/courts in the work areas. *sigh* I have about 10 billion applications out to "real" jobs, but it takes people too damn long to process real job applications. It's takes about 6 months to get a government job. That sucks ass. My fucking degree can kiss my white tush. Uhm... Yea. That sounds about right. I like to juggle, and need to have more adventures. OH! Yea, I went to The Mondo Juggling Festival in Minneapolis a few weeks ago. That was the shit. Great shows, great juggling, fun people. It was a grand 'ol time. I really should start making daily entries again. You people care about the mundane details of my life, don't you? Posted by Seager @ 03:40 AM CST Link | |
