I've been working night and day, but I finally have the video of Mondo XVI finished. For those of you unware, Mondo is a weekend long juggling and unicycling festival. It's one of the biggest in the states and is frequented by several big name jugglers. This year we had Vova Galchenko (He's usually there) and the Danish National Unicycling Team among others.

Anyways, I made a big video of it, and if you only download one thing from me ever, it should be this. Every reader I have will love this video. It's all synked up with music and the whole bit. You'll see stuff you've never even thought about seeing before, trust me. I've become a lot better and editing video. Oh, and Ben's going to like the first song a lot, I think.

Mondo 2005 <--- FAST DOWNLOAD (thanks Zach)

Mondo 2005 <--- Backup Only, slow download

(76 megs, 640x480, DIVX)

Go Here to install the free Divx codec if you don't already have it.

Yea, I know that's a big download, but it's worth it. The original was 11 gigs! Please give me feedback on it. :)

If you were a fly on the wall today at work right around closing time tonight you would have heard:

DL: What should I do now?
Me: Uhh, you mop, I'm going to go wipe down some stuff that needs to be wiped down.
DL: That sounds like it could kind of be a dirty innuendo.
Me: I'm going to wipe down your face with my nuts.
RA: *overhears and laughs uncontrollably for the next 5 minutes*

Uhm... I went to mondo this weekends, I'm working on a video - but enough of that crap, that's off subject. Tonight it's quotes night, so I give you two short AIM conversations I've had with Josh and Mark recently. (aim names changed to protect the innocent and other such crappity crap crap)

josh: Man, I shouldn't keep a power drill next to my computer.
josh: I wanna drill holes in stuff.

Mark: HORSE NUTS!
Me: yesh
Mark:: um, what?
Me: "yesh"
Mark: oh
Mark: i can't read
Mark: i thought you said yeah
Mark: and was like, damn he's excited about horse balls

Fin.

boingy boingy boingy

Some pictures for you - on the left you have Mark with a penny in his nose sideways. His nostrils are huge. This picture was taken at Zach's house when we went to see Spamalot a few weekends ago. I'll post more pictures of that later. (not the penny thing, the spamalot trip) On the right you have a picture of some of the flowers and rose petals I dumpstered Qehn for V-day ~or~ Annual "what a great fucking time to dumpster-dive flowerama day." The next night I completely covered our entire bed in rose petals while she slept. It was sweeto!

Awhile back I made a fan speed controller out of parts from radioshack to control my front 120mm fan. I decided to post a picture of it looking at if from the front of the case with the case door open. It's not really much to see - which I suppose was the whole point.

I often think of really good things to write about while at work, but never can seem to remember them when I get home. Damn.

Most of you know that I've been recording with Ben Cook-Feltz for a number of years. Last Saturday he had a concert in CF as part of Cucumber Soul, and I took some video of it. I used the footage to further learn how to use my new video editing software and am rather pleased with the result.

I present to you:

Sorry Eric, I know it's been awhile.

Not too much has been going on. Mark works at the burrito now. Yay. I also made them a website but I'm not linking to it just yet. Hmm... in other news...

Why the fuck do these things cost over 4,000 dollars? Not that I really want one, but jeeze, it'd be worth a shot if they could get 'em down to $50 with a free trial. It can't be THAT hard to build one out of parts from radioshack.

I taught myself how to use Sony's (Formerly soundforges) Vegas pro video editing software today. Well, kind of taught myself. It's really fucking hard and complicated, and unlike with their audio software that I taught myself to use back in the day, I don't already know all the necessary vocab to know what everything does. Anyway, I learned a few tricks (I can now brighten dark video, slow mo, and do other image quality related things you probably won't notice) and turned out a video. It features our unicycling trials course, as usual, and features an amazing jump/gap by Mark and me destroying my elbow. I think I knocked off a chunk bone or something (again, I did that once in high school when I dove while playing pingpong).

Enjoy Mark's skill and my pain. Trials 2-5-05 (14 megs, DIVX, fullscreen)

Hey Josh, thanks again for the tickets.
