10/06/2002 Entry: "oh boy, time"

Today I changed the date thing on the left 'cause September IS TO FUCKING BIG and fucked everything up. It pissed me off. Let me explain why:

Greymatter, the software that runs this place, dynamically makes each page. So, to have an auto-updating archive thingy, I simply put ((monthday)) in for the month and ((yearyear)) in for the year in the appropriate place in the code. Now, ((monthday)) displays the entire month name. I didn't want that, so I experimented. I discovered ((monthmonth)) does the month number w/ a 0. ((month)) does just the number. (9 vs 09). I just wanted an abbreviation however. So, I checked greymatter's site. It said to use ((monthdayshort)) So, I tried that. Did it work? NOOOO! Greymatter is sucking my balls. So, I changed it to what you see now. I'm sure you all care, take that.

Today, the Iowa State Daily, the crappy newspaper here, informed us all that Alchy makes stupid people have sex with ugly people and sheep. ...more or less. I swear, could they find anything stupider to report about?

I'm dying for something to write about... uhm... Oh yea, Zach sent me this link awhile ago. Anyone have 4,000 dollars they want to give me? Notice how I said give, 'cause I don't care about it enough to actually pay for it myself. But, hey... that would be kind of nice sometimes. Especially around finals time when stress hits in and my words decide to start eating themselves in battle royals in my mouth like rabbid lesbian muskrats with lazers, causing them to spew out limping, bleeding, and completely incoherent. I'm sure some of you can relate. Or... no... none of you probably can, so you'll have to just try and imagine it. BONG!

There are plans in the making for a bunch of us to bike across the country next summer, paying our way by putting on juggling shows. I'll tell ya more later when we get more details. I just felt like starting the hype now.

And, finally, since I know you're all wondering, I'll post pictures of her as soon as I take some. You all know who I'm talking about.
