12/14/2003 Entry: "foam" Today was good. Saw fireworks, hung out with Shawn and painted his house, went to damnfest and played poosticks with Ozzie, and then, later that night, I learned a lesson: DO NOT STOMP ON A CAN OF SPRAY FOAM WHEN TRYING TO MAKE IT EXPLODE. Why? 'Cause it works. See, at some point during the hooliganism that John and I were partaking in tonight we were modifying old cans of spray foam (obtained with Shawn during past endeavors) with a big ass knife so that they would shoot their load (tee hee hee) non stop and make cool art/fountains/noise/explosions. We were modifying the nozzle since stabbing pressurized cans anywhere else is bad. Well, with one of the cans we decided to try to make it break by throwing it at rocks. After awhile the tip started to ooze, so I started stomping on it to try to force it out. Right before my foot came crashing down the third time I notices the slight ooze that beginning to come out of the side of the can and --- BOOM! I get completely hosed by a fire hose of spray foam that continues shooting a fountain 10 feet in the air after I get clear. For those of you that don't know, spray foam comes out of the can VERY sticky and eventually dries into a really hard foam. Needless to say those clothes will never be the same. Weeeeee! (I love you Qehn)
