12/14/2003 Entry: "brains!" Qehndrah thinks that I am a bad writer. Well, not so much a bad writer, but one that is not a literary snob like herself. I figure as leng as i get my across pointe it mater don't. Eh? I thought you'd agree. There was a time that I was a stellar writer. That was back in highschool. I took many higher level writing classes and blew the shit out of them. I was good. That was then, this is now, where thankfully my only readers are equally as illiterate and stupid as I, and are also not easily offended! (With luck those of you that weren't offended by Replacement Vaginas also won't be offended by me calling you stupid outright. Although, to be safe, I should mention that I don't really mean it, please love me, I long for your touch, oh baby, oh baby, oh!) Zach visited for awhile a few days ago, and so did Mike from the Roadshow. It was a grand 'ol time. We played frisbee golf. Zach took pictures. They are soon to come. So, I'm working a lot nowadays. I still have the same job at AA. It used to be called AATI, but now we're just AA, I guess. We've dropped the TI to save money on ink when we print out memos or something like I that. I dunno. I figure it's just so when the CEO's of other companies finish drowning their fears about this dismal economy in a glass of Jack and type AA into google in an attempt to get their life back on the right path they'll get our site instead of Assholes Anonymous or whatever they were looking for and do business with us. It can't hurt. Oh, btw, I wasn't trying to infer that all CEOs are alcoholic assholes. Just most of them. And no, that wasn't just a disclaimer for work in case someone from there still reads this (heaven forbid). Besides, we don't even have a CEO anyway, we have a COO, which is short for COOH, which is chemistry speak for carboxylic acid, a substance commonly found in ORGANIC POISONS!! (probably) ... COINCIDENCE!! I THINK NOT! So, anyway, the only real problem with work is that I have to show up to get paid. That's a real downer. On Mondays and Wednesdays I bike to work and work from 9-11am, then bike to class, and then go back to work at 2:30 and work 'til around 8:30. I'm getting in over 7 hours those days, which translates nicely into me being able to pay rent if they ever get around to paying me. Sadly I'm back to doing just tech work because no one else is around to really do it. However, I'm really fast and efficient at what I do, so it's not so bad. As usual I get through the day by making stupid not funny jokes in my head that amuse me to no end, and often imagine fun scenarios involving me jamming pipettes into the eyes of the employees of the other companies that share this building with us. I don't really have a reason. Sometimes they hog the autoclave, I guess. That's a reason... Anyways, I figure a jabbing a pipette in someone's eye would be pretty cool.
