12/14/2006 Entry: "out of shape?" I suppose when you make a new site it's only prudent that you actually use it. I just cut the total image size down from 286k to 103k to help load time. It's a slight sacrifice in quality, especially with the above image - but it's not too noticeable and was definitely very needed. The page was loading badly. It's image intensive as it is with the way I had to do the curved tables in the divs. It's frustrating that when I have the most news to report that I am least able to find the time to record the news here. I am getting married in a few days (c'mere is destroying my desk fighting a bug that landed on my monitor) and moving to Oregon in a few weeks. Holy crap. My twice broken tooth was slightly damaged the other day (2-3 weeks ago now) causing incredible pain. They weren't able to operate on it immediately so I was left to my own devices for 5 days or so try and stop this pain. To put it into perspective, two years ago I fell of a 16 foot ladder and landed on my head, almost dying. I spend several days in bed and an afternoon in the hospital. That hurt WAY less than this toothache. This hurt so bad I'd have to pull the car over when driving, and occasionally my vision was affected. (it came in waves) I finally got a root canal done Thursday which has practically save my life. So, long story short, I ended up overdosing on Tylenol. I recognized the signs while closing up at work and called poison control to see how bad I was, and they made me go to the ER where they hospitalized me for 26 hours and pumped me full of this shit the opens up your liver and makes you really sick. I ended up being just over the bottom rung of overdosing, but since I'd been doing it for 5-ish days they wanted to be sure. They said if I'd just gone home I would have been immediately alright, but my liver would have failed several years later from it. Wow. I'd been watching my ibuprofen intake, but not so much my Tylenol. I thought it was the safe drug out of the two, but I had that backwards. Oops. Fucking shit didn't work anyway. While in the hospital they put me on a large dose of oxycontin, but it didn't do shit. They then gave me morphine on top of the oxycontin which just made me sleepy. However, after falling asleep the pain still kept waking me up. Both drugs are fucking worthless. They can suck a big dick. Is it a wonder why I OD's on Tylenol when morphine and oxy didn't work? (well, maybe the morphine helped a little, but the oxy had NO affect) My sister is supposedly immune to pain killers. Ibuprofen and to a lesser extent Morphine seem to work for me. Maybe I'm getting worse.
