12/13/2009 Entry: "sick day" I had my first sick day in 1.5 years working for the district today. It's the first time I've been sick this year except for over xmas break. Last year I was sick a lot - being my first year back in schools - but I didn't have paid sick days then so I just kept working. It's nice being able to call in sick and still be paid. I'm already feeling better, which means I can go to the Madsen Cycles debut/bike+beer party tonight. Sweet! If I'd had to work I'd have still been sick tonight and probably tomorrow, but now I can go have (moderate) fun and make it to work on Friday! Woot Recuperation!
